Animal Farm is a fantastic allegorical novella written by George Orwell. Even though he represents animals in this fable it is all about the humans, comparing the animal farm with Russian revolution.  

All revolution starts with "everyone are equal" but ends with "everyone are equal but some are more equal than others". 

Moral of this novella is whether it is right wing or left wing, ruling class is always a ruling class-it exploits common people. A political satire where author strips the left propaganda. A great read even the left ideologists will enjoy.

பிரபல கார்ட்டூனிஸ்ட் மதன் குமுதத்தில் கி.மு கி.பி என்ற தலைப்பில் எழுதிய வரலாற்று தொடரின் தொகுப்பே இந்த புத்தகம். கி.மு கி.பி என்ற தலைப்பில் இருந்தாலும் கி.மு காலகட்டத்தை மட்டுமே விவரிக்கிறது இந்த புத்தகம். 450 கோடி ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன் பூமி வெறும் 7927 மைல் விட்டமுள்ள ஒரு மிதக்கும் பாறை என்ற தகவலில் தொடங்கி கிறிஸ்து பிறப்பு வரை பல ஆச்சரியமூட்டும் தகவல்களை இந்த புத்தகத்தில் காணலாம்.
முதல் ஆதிமனிதன் ஒரு பெண். அவள் ஆப்ரிக்க கருப்பு பெண் என்ற விஞ்ஞான பூர்வமாக நிருபிக்கப்பட்ட தகவல் நமக்கு ஆச்சரியமூட்டுகிறது. மேலும், முதல் ஊரின் பெயரே "ஊர்" என்பது மற்றொரு ஆச்சரியம். நாடோடி மனிதர்கள் நதிக்கரையோரம் வசித்த மக்கள் மீது தொடுத்த தாக்குதலே முதல் யுத்தம் என்று ஆசிரியர் குறிப்பிடுகிறார்.
யூப்ரேடீஸ் நதிக்கரையில் மலர்ந்த மெசோபேடாமிய நாகரிகத்தை சார்ந்த  பாபிலோனியர்கள் சிற்ப கலையில் சிறந்து விளங்கியது போல முதன் முதலில் உலகில் தெளிவான சட்டங்கள் பிறந்ததும் அங்குத்தான் .
2000 கடவுள்களுக்கு மேல் இருந்த எகிப்து சாம்ராஜயத்தில் ஒரே கடவுள் என்று முதலில் முழங்கிய மன்னன் அக்நேடா, சுமார் 5000 ஆண்டுகளுக்கு முன்பே இறந்த உடலை பதப்படுத்தும்(மம்மி) முறையில் கைதேர்ந்தவர்களாக இருந்தனர் எகிப்தியர்கள் என்ற தகவல்கள் நமக்கு வியப்பூட்டுகின்றன.
இலக்கியம், நாடகம் போன்ற கலைகளில் சிறந்து உலகுக்கு முன்னோடியாய் திகழ்ந்த கிரேக்க நாகரிகம் போரிலும் சிறந்து விளங்கியது. தன்னைவிட நான்கு மடங்கு பெரிய படையான பாரசீக படையை எதிர்த்த போதும் தன் போர் நுணுக்கத்தாலும் புத்திசாலித்தனத்தாலும் வென்றது.
அவர்களின் போர் வரலாற்றை படிக்கும் போது "300" என்கிற ஆங்கில படத்தைப் பார்க்கும் போது  ஏற்பட்ட சிலிர்ப்பும்  வியப்பும் மறுமுறை நமக்கு  ஏற்படுகிறது . நவின மருத்துவத்தின் தந்தை ஹிப்போகிரேட்டீஸ், தத்துவ மேதைககளான சாக்ரடீஸ், பிளேட்டோ, அரிஸ்டாட்டில் போன்றவர்களை தந்தது கிரேக்க சாம்ராஜ்ஜியம்.
இன்றைய கேரள தமிழக பகுதிகளை தவிர்த்து  அகந்த பாரதத்தின் மன்னனாய் திகழ்ந்த சந்திரா குப்த மௌரியர் வரலாற்றையும் ஆசிரியர் விறுவிறுப்போடு சொல்லியிருக்கிறார்.
உலகில் தோன்றிய நாகரிகங்களில் சிந்து நாகரிகம் போன்று எளிமையான, ஒழுக்கம் நிறைந்த  நாகரிகம் எதுவும் இல்லை என்று கூறலாம்.  நீச்சல் குளம், கழிவறை என அன்றே நாகரிகத்திற்கு எல்லாம் நாகரிகமாக திகழ்ந்துள்ளது. பல படையெடுப்புகள் நடந்தபோதும், பல கலாசாரங்கள் இடையில் நுழைந்தபோதும், திணித்தபோதும்  அவற்றுடன் இரண்டறக் கலந்து ஒரு தொடர் கலாசாரமாக இந்தியா விளங்குவதற்கு சிந்து நாகரிகத்தின் வலிமையும் தொன்மையுமே காரணம் என்று ஆசிரியர் குறிப்பிடுவது ஏற்புடையதே.!
வரலாற்றை படிக்கவும் கேட்கவும் அலுப்பு என்று எண்ணுபவர்களுக்குக் கூட மிக எளிமையாக, உரையாடலை போல் இந்த புத்தகத்தை கொடுத்துள்ளார் ஆசிரியர்.

Spirit of India is a book with selection of questions put to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam during and after his tenure as the President of India. He has answered for the most interesting, intellectual to naive and irreverent questions in a simplistic way. 
A man with positive thoughts, who inculcated the same to the entire nation, addresses all the concerns, aspirations and dreams of today's young India. From education, science, nation building, corruption, economic imbalance, communal hatred, divisive politics, national security, system failure to his personal interest he answers all our questions. Not a single answer passes a discouragement or negative thoughts to the questioner. 
His critics often question about his concern for environment and say a missile scientist is a destroyer for the environment and nations peace, he has answered to all those questions. 
Righteousness, Dream, Hard-work, Persevere, Sweat, Creativity, Inquisitive, Acquiring Knowledge are the words you can find in his answers consistently.
The last edition of this book is eight years ago (2010), but still most of the questions are apt even today. A must have book for every Indian Youth.

PageRank is an algorithm used by Google Search to rank websites in their search engine results. It was developed by Google founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Named after Larry Page, Page Rank is a way of measuring the importance of website pages. which evaluates the quality and quantity of links to a webpage to determine a relative score of that page’s importance and authority on a 0 to 10 scale.

It helped SEO (Search Engine Optimization) in a great way to build quality backlinks thereby increasing the popularity of the websites.

Announcement of Deprecation:

The visible page rank is updated very infrequently. It was last updated in November 2013. In October 2014, google announced that another visible page rank update is not coming.

Finally, on April 15, 2016 Google has officially shut down their Google Toolbar PageRank Data to public.

It scores Domain Authority on a 100-point, logarithmic scale. Higher the score higher the quality of domain and suitable to submit our backlinks. Score above 50 is recommended.

2) Spam Score Checker:

A spam score is a rating that values range between 1 and 10, 1 being the best spam score and 10 being the lowest spam score. It determines the number of spam links in a website. Google demotes the websites with spam messages and links. Spam Score checker will help us to avoid building links in such websites.

3) Alexa Traffic Rank and Semrush Rank:

Alexa’s Traffic Ranks are based on the traffic data provided by users in Alexa’s global data panel over a rolling 3 month period. Traffic Ranks are updated daily. A site’s ranking is based on a combined measure of Unique Visitors and Pageviews. Unique Visitors are determined by the number of unique Alexa users who visit a site on a given day. Pageviews are the total number of Alexa user URL requests for a site.

However, multiple requests for the same URL on the same day by the same user are counted as a single Pageview. The site with the highest combination of unique visitors and pageviews is ranked Number One.

• SEMrush Rank

SEMrush Rank is a unique report, a complete listing of the top 100,000 domains in SEMrush’s database, ranked in order of their search engine keywords and estimated traffic coming from search.

Henceforth, we can make use of Alexa Traffic Rank and SEMrush Rank report to identify quality sites for link building activities.

Why there is a demand for fast bowlers in Indian cricket? Each time when we discuss this issue, we receive different views and comments. Let’s discuss.

It is strongly recommended to improve the level of standard and the number of first class cricket played in India, which is the place to develop the basics. Unfortunately, our youngsters play less first class cricket and too much limited overs cricket. In first class cricket(four day match), bowlers has to dismiss the batting side to win the games. Whereas, in T20’s and ODI’s bowlers try to contain the flow of runs, and there is too much of money in T20 cricket.

Too much of cricket leads to burnout, injuries that compels the bowlers to reduce their pace and abandon their strength for longevity. Fast bowling is not just bowling at a raw pace of 150 kmph. Swing, accuracy and bowling at a good line and length are sometimes much more effective. But, we have bowlers who either bowl accurate not fast or the bowlers who bowl fast not accurate. The bowlers who does both effectively gets injured frequently and sacrifices their pace for longevity. Coaches have to train bowlers to increase their accuracy without sacrificing their pace.

We need to work harder on our fitness. Some fast bowlers get fade away after injuries due to wrong practices. The fast bowlers need a lot of guidance and nurturing, sometimes excessive workout in gyms and not bowling enough may also affect there rhythm.

Conditions and pitches in India can never be like that of Australia, South Africa or England. Indian bowlers are brought up on flat pitches, which discourages the kids who want to become a fast bowler. Most of the pitches in India are either a flat track or a turning track. PCA stadium track in Mohali which is often dubbed as the fast bowlers track in India is losing(lost) its identity where the pitches are prepared to support batting due to IPL matches where they need high scoring games. Most of the pitch curators in India are forced to prepare either a flat track that supports batsman or a turning track that supports spinner, they don’t want a pitch that supports a fast bowler, because all the visiting teams have stronger pace bowling unit than India.

After the retirement of Anil Kumble, fast bowlers are the one who took lot of wickets in test matches than the spinners(before Ashwin-Jadeja era) which is a rare fact in Indian cricket. Yes, our fast bowlers are good, but, they are not consistent. Injuries visit every fast bowler, even  bowlers like Dale Steyn, Brett lee gets injured but when they return, they don’t sacrifice their pace, instead they work hard on their fitness. Inspite of flat pitches in Pakistan, they produce quality fast bowlers traditionally, because they have a culture which encourages youngsters to take up fast bowling. So, injuries, conditions and pitches are no excuses. It’s the attitude that lacks among Indian bowlers.

India is a country where people are excellent when they have to use their cerebral more than their body. We are good at brainy games such as chess, billiards, shooting. Parents in India want their kids to be smarter and they feel great by being smarter. When it comes to cricket they prefer to become a batsman where the chances of injuries are less. Longevity, fame and minimum physical activity impress the youngsters to choose batting over bowling. Moreover, batsmen in India are the ones who were conferred with awards and tagged as National heroes. Sachin Tendulkar and M.S.Dhoni are the only cricketer’s who were conferred with Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna award (India’s highest honor given for achievement in sports), where the former is a batsman and the latter is a wicket-keeping batsman. The two bowlers who were treated as national heroes in Indian cricket history were Kapil Dev and Anil Kumble. Unfortunately, Kapil Dev retired long back and Kumble is a spinner. We need fast bowlers. We need to enjoy the sight of stumps being knocked cleanly out of the track as much as the ball flying out of the stadium. It’s the bowlers who win you matches, to win matches abroad (out of Indian-subcontinent) you need good fast bowlers.
